Careers
No vacancies.Still worthan application.
We are not advertising roles. That is not the same as not hiring: the work here is narrow and unusual enough that the people who fit it rarely arrive through a job board, and we would rather read one letter from someone who has thought about the problem than a hundred applications against a specification.
1B underwrites exposures that do not have a loss history yet. That means the work sits between disciplines: an underwriter has to read a security architecture, an engineer has to understand why a wording says what it says, and both have to be comfortable being early.
If that describes how you already work, tell us what you would want to build here and what you have built before. We read every letter ourselves.
The kind of work
- Underwriting
- Emerging risk, written from evidence rather than from a loss triangle that does not exist.
- Engineering
- The systems that turn signal into an underwriting decision, and back again after an event.
- Risk and research
- Reading a technology closely enough to say what can go wrong before anybody has seen it go wrong.
- Legal and regulatory
- Wordings, licensing and the regimes emerging exposures are written against.
